The Best Welcome Can be Found in These Nursery Wallpaper Designs

“Oh my, oh my, how the time does fly!” I really didn’t expect to come at this stage of life so fast. It was like yesterday when I finished college and met my husband. We’ve been together for almost five years, but it sure feel like no more than a year. Ever since then, my life;s become much more beautiful than before. We got married, and a year after that we had the first fruit of our love, my little Snow White (it’s a nickname my sister came up with) and now we are expecting our new bundle of joy. Since we don’t want to know the gender, we decided to redecorate the existing nursery room using neutral colour scheme and that includes the wallpapers too. Wallpapers are a great way to add personality and style to any room of your home, especially in the nursery. They are pretty easy to apply and are available in many styles that can complement any room.

When it comes to nursery wallpaper designs, you can find popular cartoon characters, cute animals, vehicles, boats, as well as the antique-inspired dotty wallpapers, alphabet wallpapers and more. Besides these types of nursery wallpaper designs, you can also find a variety of simple, sleek and elegant ones that could be a perfect match for both a boy’s and girl’s room. To furthermore narrow down your choice and help you decide without making too long a research, I have prepared a list of the most appealing designs available today.

Row, Row, Row Your Boat….

This song is literally engraved in my head. I used to sing it to my little girl every night when she was a baby, therefore, I didn’t think twice when I set my eyes on a sail away with me wallpaper. This type of wallpaper includes the colours white and navy – the base being white and the little boats navy. Since the plan is for my kids to share the room, I placed this wallpaper right behind the crib, while the other 3 walls have a soft hue of the lightest blue. On the wall where my daughter’s bed would be placed next to, I wrote the following phrase of the song “Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream”.

Neutral Pattern

Neutral pattern wallpapers are never to go out of style as they give you the freedom to play with the rest of the room décor. If I hadn’t been so keen on the aforementioned song, my animal loving nature would have gotten the best of me and this is how it all would have turned out. I’d have gone with neutral light grey as not to overshadow the plush toys: a little bunny, elephant and teddy bear and my DIY bunny eared pillow and the hanging stars and little paper clouds I would have arranged myself.

Learn the Alphabet

Last but not least, my second coulda woulda choice is the alphabet wallpaper. Besides from being an eye-candy, this wallpaper is also very educational. Once again, this still counts as neutral décor because the letters are to take up only one wall. The rest of the room it’s best in the lightest of green to rest.

Hopefully, after reading this article, you feel more confident about making that final décor decision. It really is a simple task if you commit to it with love and a touch of imagination.
